Slam Dunk the Funk!

For the last month or so I’ve been in a bit of a mental funk. I’d let outside circumstances dictate how I was feeling and acting.

There is a lot of noise in the world right now and if you’re not careful it can take over your mindset.

I’m not someone who ever watched the news, I don’t even listen to the radio. But for the last month or so I’ve found myself watching and listening to the news through social media. I knew it was sapping my energy, but I was stuck in a funk.

I’d stopped doing the things I do on a daily basis to put myself in a good frame of mind, I’d stopped taking the actions I know work that create the life I want.

I had to stop the funk, so I decided to have the weekend away last weekend as a blowout, to shake the funk and then start back a fresh yesterday with renewed purpose.

It was good to release the energy.

To come back stronger I’m taking on 2 challenges at the same time.
